Quality Antique Sterling Cameo Brooch with Pearl and Old Diamond Surround

A beautiful very finely carved shell cameo, framed in sterling silver with a trombone style clasp, marked with "925" and a mark I cannot identify on the reverse. Surrounding the bezel set cameo are tiny pearls, and four old-cut diamonds. Much nicer and finer than most shell cameos I see, this is a fine example with pearls and diamonds. The diamonds have a nice sparkle, and like old diamonds, they are not graded, the pearls have a mostly uniform appearance, and appear mostly smooth-skinned.

I do not have an exact age on this, however, certainly, it is vintage, and likely an antique. I see no damage, ready to wear and or give as a gift. 50.3mm north to south X 39mm east to west, 19.7 grams.
